Notice and Advertisement for Bids

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: Sealed bids for the Public Improvement Project titled “Gladbrook Reinbeck Community School District 2023 Building Envelope Improvements Project” will be received by the Board Secretary of the Gladbrook Reinbeck Community School District at the District office 600 Blackhawk St. Reinbeck, IA 50669 before 1 P.M. C.S.T. (according to the designated clock in the District Office) on the Thursday March 30th, 2023 at which time they will be publicly opened and read

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. on the Thursday March 16th, 2023 at the Gladbrook – Reinbeck Elementary School 300 Cedar St. Reinbeck, IA 50669 . Bidders shall meet at the Elementary School. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory and specifications will be distributed at this meeting.

Bidders will be required to provide a security deposit in the form of an approved Bid Bond, cashiers or certified check, or certified share draft in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, including alternates, in a separate attached envelope. Bid security shall be made payable to the Treasurer of the Gladbrook- Reinbeck Community Schools. Performance Bond and Labor, Material and Payment Bond will be required by the successful bidder in the full amount of the contract.  No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after the date and hour set for receiving bids. The anticipated construction schedule is between May 23, 2023 – August 23, 2023
