The G-R Rebel boys basketball team qualified for the 1A state tournament! On Monday, 03-06-23, the Rebels will take on Remsen, St. Mary's at 3:45 PM at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines! Class 1A State Bracket is attached.
COMMUNITY CELEBRATIONS
A Community Celebration will be held on Sunday, 03-05-23, at 3:30 PM in the G-R JH-HS school gym. The Boys Basketball bus will leave Reinbeck at 10:30 AM on Monday, 03-06-23. Good luck, Rebels!

ADDITIONAL BOYS STATE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
1) PURCHASING OF TICKETS AT THE ARENA: You are able to purchase tickets at the arena. The website states that Wells Fargo Arena will take either cash or credit cards for tickets at the arena.
2) CONCESSIONS: All concessions are now cashless.
3) MAPS OF THE AREA: Please find the following links to two maps:

One map shows the area around the arena including drop off spots for the teams and parking for spectators, pep buses and team buses. The second map includes the area inside the arena.
4) STORMING THE FLOOR: Per the IHSAA: "No team(s) student body/spectators are allowed on the playing surface at the conclusion of an IHSAA post-season event without the express permission of the tournament manager. Penalty: Team or individual awards will not be presented to the participant(s) immediately following the competition...This penalty is in addition to any other penalty or sanction which may be imposed by the Board of Control, its Executive Director, or designee as a result of a violation of any other policy, rule, bylaw or regulation of the IHSAA."
