NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY so G-R Staff and Students can travel to Des Moines to support the Rebels!

BOYS STATE BASKETBALL SEND-OFF ~ 03-04-24
There will be a short pep rally held Monday morning in the HS gym. It is scheduled to start at approximately 10:10 AM. The doors will be open by 9:50 AM. We invite all of Rebel Nation to pack the gym bleachers for the pep rally.
- The team bus will leave the back parking lot of the high school at approximately 10:25 AM. They will be escorted by fire truck through the route included in the attached picture. We will be going north on Broad St. Once we get to Main St, we will turn left and go west until we reach Blackhawk St. Once at Blackhawk St, we will go south and end up going past the front of the high school and will continue on Blackhawk going south out of town.
- We will be taking highway 96 going west through Gladbrook as well make our way down to Des Moines. We should be going through Gladbrook on highway 96 somewhere between 10:45 - 10:50 AM.
We would love to see as many Rebel fans as possible as we make our way through both Gladbrook and Reinbeck. Thank you for your amazing support and go Rebels!!

PARENTS DAY OFF ~ 03-09-24
Wanting to get away from your kids for a couple hours, sign them up and drop them off at the Jr./Sr. high gym on 03-09-24 from 12:30-3:30. Your kid can hang out with seniors and can burn some energy. This is a fundraiser for the class of 2024's senior class trip to St. Louis. We will be limiting the event to the first 40 kids signed up and paid. Please pay $25 to the elementary or secondary office by Wednesday March 6th to hold your spot. No refunds will be given.

GRUNDY COUNTY HERITAGE CENTER MUSEUM SPRING OPEN HOUSE ~ 03-03-24
Come enjoy free refreshments and a program with special guest, Michael Huston, at 2:00 PM on Sunday, 03-03-24. Mr. Huston will speak about Iowa's rich heritage in the US Civil War. Guests are encouraged to bring any photos or images they have of their Iowa Civil War ancestors for Mr. Huston to make archival scans of them. See attached flyer for details.
