Rebel Nation, Next Tuesday Oct. 3rd is the first night of the 2023 NICL Volleyball Tournament. The Rebels will be playing against Sumner-Fredericksburg. That match will take place at DNH as they are the host for our pod. DNH will play Jesup at 5PM and our match will follow theirs. Mrs. Fleshner's third-grade class has been working hard in science. We have been learning about the water cycle, clouds, weather patterns, different climate zones, as well as natural hazards. This week the students worked to create a model of a house and design solutions to keep the house from blowing away in a hurricane. It is great to see all their creative ideas and them working together.

Today the third grade students had their first Ag in the Classroom lesson. Today we learned all about corn. We listened to a book about corn, did a play about corn, ate some candy corn, and learned about different byproducts of corn. Thanks to Shari for coming to teach us and to Farm Bureau for sponsoring Ag in the Classroom.
Each month Shari will come to teach us about a different topic involved with agriculture.
