The TK class had a fun and informative trip to the Grundy County Heritage Museum. Hunter showed us many different animal skins and taught us a little bit about each animal. He even had some live snakes that the kids got to touch. We ended our trip with a hike and picnic lunch in the woods.

Beautiful night to honor our seniors as we hosted our last home golf meet of the season at Oak Leaf Country Club against East Marshall. 💙🏌♂️
The boys lost to East Marshall (155) shooting a 178. Brayden Utter tied for runner-up with a 38, but lost in cardback.
Our girls didn't have a team score. Congrats to Avery Boyer who tied for runner-up and won in cardback shooting a 62.
JV boys got in on the action tonight too. They shot a 201, losing to East Marshall with a 193. Tyson Blohm led the JV team shooting a 41.

Gladbrook Reinbeck Cheer is excited to announce we have two Cheerleaders who have been selected to cheer at the 2025 Iowa Shrine Bowl. They get the country to not only cheer for Michael Boyd, who was selected as a player to represent the Rebels, but also to help all those who are a part of this game.
Jayla Hemann and Leila Thesing, both juniors, are honored and excited to have been selected to cheer for this incredible event.
This isn’t just a football game — it’s an incredible event that brings athletes and cheerleaders from all over Iowa together to raise money for Shriners Children’s, a hospital network that provides free, life-changing care to kids who need it most.

This afternoon was the annual Hardy Reading/Writing Council Celebration in Eldora. This council is made up of teachers from Hardin and Grundy counties. The teachers meet monthly to discuss strategies to help our students become better readers and writers. Several teachers from GR are part of this group.
Each year, teachers submit creative writing stories and poetry to a contest. This year, two third-grade students from GR were chosen as the first-place third-grade winners!
Izzy was awarded first place for poetry, and Bodhi was awarded first place for a creative writing story.
Great job! GR is proud of you! Keep up the great writing!
