The volleyball team has been busy the last two days with school and practices along with decorating Trunck’s windows, painting cars and canvas for some team bonding time before heading off to Coralville tomorrow for our first match of the State Tournament. Hope to see you there!

There was a lot going on today in third grade today. We started off the day by sharing with the second grade students what we have learning about in our mystery unit for reading. In the afternoon we shared our mystery stories that we wrote by the campfire with some s'more snacks. We ended the day by getting on our Halloween costumes and having a parade and a classroom party.

Rebel Nation has a busy week ahead for volleyball and football.
Volleyball heads southeast on Tuesday to the state tournament and will take on Holy Trinity Catholic in the quarterfinals at 8PM at Xtream Arena in Coralville.
Football will head west on Thursday to take on Newell-Fonda in an 8-player quarterfinal matchup. Kickoff is at 7PM.
More information will be posted about tickets, event streaming, etc.

TUESDAY 1:15- Let’s send our girls off to STATE Volleyball > Community/School Send off from JH/HS at 1:15 with any community members that can join the students and meet out front of school to send off girls as they load the bus. After the send off they will swing over to the elementary and then depart around 1:30 and take the following drive:
**The route the bus will take--Leave Elementary and take Cedar towards JH/HS, then a right on Blackhawk Street, Take a right on Main Street, Take a Left on Broad Street, and then head East out of town to Coraville/Iowa City. #rebelnation
