Gladbrook-Reinbeck CSD will be running a 2 hour delay tomorrow, December 4th, 2025 due to the road conditions and predicted wind chills. We will continue to evaluate conditions in the morning.

Due to the early school dismissal today regarding deteriorating road conditions, there WILL NOT be any HS practices taking place. This includes HS girls and boys basketball, HS cheer, and HS girls and boys wrestling.

Coaches from GR have all been contacted about there being NO practice. Coaches from DNH and Union Community where we send our boys and girls for wrestling have been contacted as well about our athletes not attending practice today out of safety and not traveling on the roads.

We want them to get home as soon as school is dismissed today.

New Life church has dropped off some Christmas treats! Thank you from the GR staff for their generous gifts throughout the year.

Gladbrook - Reinbeck CSD will be dismissing at 1:20 PM today.

We apologize for the late notice and inconvenience, but we started to receive information about deteriorating road conditions due to wind and blowing snow. Our transportation director started to drive route roads and evaluate road conditions, while I monitored 511. The road conditions are not improving and out of caution we going dismiss at 1:20 PM.

GR FFA will be at the Gladbrook Christmas Tree Lighting tonight! Stop by the shelter house to make some reindeer food! We will also have real evergreen porch pots and wreaths for sale.

The TK kids worked in partners to draw a snowman on their ziplock bags. We used their snowmen for our exploding snowmen experiment!!

The TK students were excited to pick out two books for their free book in November! Thanks to everyone who made this possible!

This Thanksgiving students filled bags with food to help others in our communities. A big thank you to the Lions Club for their generous support. Their partnership helps ensure that families in need receive a little extra support and care during the holidays!
