Some highlights @Eldora 2day:JH boys 3rd out of 7 teams. HS boys 5th out of 10 teams. Medals for Devin W(6th) and Caleb P(5th). GR8 races by all the kids, HS all improved their times from Sep. 5th at this same course!
8th grade tourney at home today. The ladies went 0-3 overall, but forced a third set against a strong AGWSR team with great hitting & passing but losing
5-21,23-21,11-15. The Rebels fell short to South Hardin 17-21,4-21 in pool play and finally in bracket play lost to GMG.
The 7th grade VB team traveled to Dike for a tourney today & ended 2-1.
The Lady Rebels did a nice job staying with a DNH team but ended up falling 11-21 and 19-21.
Strong serving helped win against Hudson 21-3 & 21-6.
Against AGWSR we came away winning 21-19 and 21-16.

Eighth grade went 2-4 on the night against aggressive Grundy Center. Strong serving, great ball placement, and good passing allowed the 8th grade girls to come away with two of the games.

The 7th grade Lady Rebels Volleyball Team lost a hard fought battle against a skilled Grundy Center team today at home and ended up 1-3 on the night. The rebels showed lots of grit and scrappy defense to keep the matches close in the end. #rebelnation

It's October, which means it is time for Mystery Readers in 3rd grade! Each week in October clues are put up for the kids to read. They try to figure out who might be coming at the end of the week to be our Mystery Reader. Thank you to Coach C. (the student teacher in PE) for being the mystery reader in Mrs. Fleshner's room this week. We enjoyed listening to the mystery book called The Mystery of the Missing Cake.
