GCGR Update Deepest apologies on the any and all confusion today AP/DNH is able to host their match in Aplington. So, we are back to where the day started and we are hosting just one match. It will be GCGR vs Hudson and will start at 7PM. Thank you for your understanding and go GCGR!!

GCGR Soccer Update The boys substate soccer match tonight vs Hudson is now starting at 5:30pm. We will be hosting a doubleheader and AP/DNH United vs CPU will follow our match at approximately 7:30PM. This change is due to weather issues. Fans will not be able to enter through the admission gate until 4:30PM. GCGR vs Hudson at 5:30 PM AP/DNH United vs CPU at 7:30 PM

Baseball Update HS baseball at Aplington-Parkersburg tonight has been postponed due to the weather. It will be rescheduled to July 3rd. JV will be at 5PM with varsity at 7PM.

Due to the forecasted high winds and additional rain that can cause deteriorating country routes for our busses, Gladbrook-Reinbeck CSD will be dismissing 2 hours early today, 5/21/24. Take care and stay safe Rebels!

GCGR boys soccer advances to the 1A substate 3 final vs Hudson. This will be played on Wednesday May 22 in Reinbeck. It will start at 7PM. Ticket prices will be $8 plus fees. They can be found at the following link: https://www.iahsaa.org/tickets/ *Tickets should be available for online purchase later this morning - NO CASH accepted at the gate - NO ACTIVITY passes accepted at the gate - IGHSAU/IHSAA admin passes are accepted at the gate - Fans can use a card as there will be a card reader available - Fans can purchase ticket online ahead of time using the link provided above Fans WILL NOT be allowed to enter until 1 hour prior to the match starting. Union softball wins at Dunkerton last night, 19-2. Mallory Wrage goes 2-3 at the plate with 2 runs batted in. Blake Mathern was 1-1 with one run batted in. They will be in action again Thursday May 23 as Union hosts Sumner-Fredericksburg.

Environmental Science students built drones during class this week. The drones were provided by a STEM Scale Up program called Discover Drones. Each group built a drone and then as a class we flew one. It was fun and challenging for the students. #rebelsrising #STEM
