Due to the early out for school on Monday and Tuesday, there will not be JH VB, JH CC, or JH Football practices. #rebelnation
Due to the ongoing heat conditions that are forecasted, we are planning for a 2-hour early dismissal on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. However, we will also closely assess building conditions early in the morning to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
Should the conditions inside the buildings prove to be unsafe, we will consider a full cancellation of school. If that decision is necessary, we will make every effort to notify families as early as possible.

Due to the high temperatures and heat index both in and out of classrooms on Monday, August 26th, Gladbrook-Reinbeck CSD will be dismissing school 2 hours early. This decision has been made to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff, as we work to avoid extended exposure to the heat.
The week ahead for Rebel Nation
It is back to school time! It is also time for the GR FFA kids to start having their monthly chapter meetings.
Friends of the GR FFA is a booster club for the student chapter. We help to support the program in many ways. One way is by providing breakfast at their monthly meetings. Meetings are held on the second Monday of every month. We are looking for businesses, organizations, or families that would like to support one of the monthly meetings.

It’s the final Friday before the big show on Monday, and we just had to treat our absolutely amazing staff to something as legendary as they are—ICONIC donuts! 🎉
Our Rebel staff has been working tirelessly to prepare for the new year, and their efforts have been nothing short of sweet perfection. From building a strong foundation to fostering a vibrant culture, their work has been the icing on the (donut) cake!
