Our GR elementary students are rocking the kids heart challenge! And it looks as if a student will get to throw a pie in Mr. Grooms’s face as the $2,500 incentive line has been crossed! The student that raises the most money gets to throw the pie!

The IGHSAU has come out with postseason basketball pairings. Our Rebel girls basketball team finds themselves in Region 1 of Class 1A.
We’ll host Janesville next Thursday, February 9th at 7PM. The winner of our game will travel to Riceville on Tuesday, February 14th.
Best of luck to our girls as they finish up the regular season this week before heading into postseason action.

Postseason Wrestling Tonight!
The DNH/GR wrestling team has qualified for the Class 2A wrestling regional dual tournament. They will wrestle for a chance compete at state team duals.

January Rebels of the Month!
Junior High Students traveling to DC: Tomorrow is Jan 30 and all Red Wheel packets must be returned to MRS. ROWE. Even if you did not sell, please return the packet with your NAME ON IT. Also include where you want your product sold to be delivered (Reinbeck or Gladbrook.) The money needs to match the amount sold and it needs to be the envelope, please seal it.
It would be helpful to your group if you could please sell, sell, sell if you have not yet done so!!!

This past Friday the elementary kicked off the American Heart Association’s kids heart challenge. After about two full days, our students have already amassed over $1,400! We’re almost halfway to our goal! You can see who the leaders are so far as we look to help out the AHA. Very proud of our students so far with many more yet to join!

Yesterday GR elementary students kicked off their kids heart challenge with the American Heart Association. This challenge lasts until February 10th. Each elementary student was given this handout yesterday to take home to get signed up if they wish to participate.
If your child was not at school yesterday, they can followed the attached picture to get signed up! They’re already several students signed up and have earned incentives! Our goal is to raise $3,000 for the American Heart Association. Let’s rock this, Rebels!
