We had a great day of singing at the Central ICDA Honor Choir at Ballard HS. 🎶🎶🎶 We had Elliott Coster, Maddie Bergmann, and Lohgan Lauterbach from the JH choir and Karina Arvizu-Ersland, Reese Schneider, Mai Knaack, Lena Al-Rabie, and Dally Nicholas from our 6th grade choir.

This week the third-grade students learned about chickens in Ag in the Classroom. We learned about the life cycle and did an activity with that. We also learned how to candle eggs.
We are excited to go on a field trip at the beginning of May to Agriculture Safety Day over in Grundy at the fairgrounds. This is always a fun way to end our Ag in the Classroom learning for the year!

Girls soccer at North Fayette Valley will be on May 4th.
Boys soccer at home vs Denver is on as scheduled. It will start at 5:30PM.
Tomorrow:
Both boys and girls track teams will be at South Hardin.
Girls soccer hosts DNH starting at 5PM.
Boys soccer hosts Central Iowa United at 7PM. They will follow the girls game.

GR Rebel Track & Field
The Rebel girls track team features four student-athletes. Among those four is freshman, Kennedy Brant, who currently has two top-ten marks among class 1A individual statistics.
Kennedy is T-7th in the high jump at 5'2". She is also 5th in the 400M dash with a time of 1:01.59.
Keep up the great work, Kennedy, and the rest of the Rebel girls track & field team!
