Our first Friends of the GR FFA meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, the 16th, at 5:30. Meetings are held in the Ag room.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join this organization, especially those with children in FFA.
Friends provide a lot of support for the FFA program. We need new faces to help keep this great thing going!!! There are a variety of ways for you to get involved and help out. Some of these ways include: breakfast for the monthly meetings, help at the banquet, help prepare kids who are going to contests, collecting donations, scholarship committee, and more.

Hill day for XC!! We went to the rolling hills of Union Grove Lake and the kids ran one of their toughest workouts of the season. I was really impressed by the effort and encouragement to each other that the kids put forth this afternoon!
Ms. Jones took inspiration from Instagram to create a Jenga review game for biology! We had a very focused game going on and had a great time reviewing for our test.
Biology students are studying the properties of water. We used litmus papers to test the pH levels of various solutions!
8th grade science is practicing Newton's Laws! With special permission, they were able to use a cell phone to record slo-mo videos of various collisions and analyze the results.
7th grade science practiced the scientific method by completing a Drops on A Penny Lab!

Yesterday in TK, we read the book Shades of People. It taught us that our skin is just a covering and that you can't tell what someone is like from the color of their skin.

XC ran a GR8 meet tonight. JH ran their 1st race of the season and ran well. Every HS boy ran a season PR: Caleb B, Campbell G, Braiden S, & Levi C, with highlights of a 4th place medal finish by Caleb P. and Tavin R.'s debut as a XC runner!!
7th graders traveled to Hudson tonight for their first matches. They went 4-2 with an overall serving percentage of 75%. Great start Rebels! #rebelnation
