TK-2nd/3rd grade tried to run a mile, without walking. 3rd-6th grade worked on pacing to see how fast they could run the mile. Those younger kids that ran a mile without walking are now part of the mile club! Today was the last time for Ag in the Classroom in the third grade. We learned about reading the back of a seed packet for information. We planted vegetable seeds. We even had a fun snack. A BIG thank you to Grundy County Farm Bureau and Shari Bakker for making this program possible for our students each month!!!!

Musical Hint Day 3:

Some homes are built to welcome guests. Others are built to keep the world out. Behind iron gates and towering walls, every hallway has a secret—and every shadow feels right at home. It’s not just a place to live… It’s a legacy.

Today in TK we made Alka- Seltzer rockets! They went quite high. The kids learned that the bubbling of the Alka- Seltzer created pressure inside the container which made the top blow off.

Yesterday, the third-grade students enjoyed a walk down to the Reinbeck Public Library. We learned about the upcoming summer reading program and took a tour of the library. We encourage kids to get involved with their local library this summer, whenever that might be!
