GR HS Baseball‼️ The varsity baseball game at Wapsie Valley today was suspended due to weather. The plan is to resume it tomorrow, June 5th. It'll still be at Wapsie Valley. It will begin at 7:45 and will be varsity only. The later start time is due to availability regarding umpires as they will be coming to WV after doing multiple games in a nearby community. We appreciate those umpires being able to make this work on such short notice. To recap, varsity baseball at Wapsie Valley will resume tomorrow June 5th at 7:45 PM. Rebel Nation, We're Back! 🥎After 5 years G-R has softball again. Yesterday the Rebels played at Hudson for the first time in a long time and it is great to have the program back up and running. This summer we are doing a trial season to see if it is sustainable to bring back Junior High Softball to Gladbrook-Reinbeck. 🥎 We started off strong with a walk, 2 stolen bases and a hit that scored a run in the first inning of the first game and then by the end the second game we scored 12 runs! During the day we made smart plays in the field, had some great pitching moments—including a strikeout and an out at third base along with many more plays. There will be things to work on but appreciate the positive attitudes from the girls and fan base that came out yesterday! 🥎 #rebelnation

8th lost 2-4 vs Dike & 7th lost 1-11. Highlights included a GR8 job on the mound by Owen G., and a 2 RBI game from Easton F. Our next game is Tuesday June 9th @Toledo @10am.
