🐾 Our Kindergarteners have been hard at work on their Non-Fiction Animal Projects—and today, they got to shine as experts! ✨
Using technology like PebbleGo to research fun and fascinating facts, students worked together in groups to bring their projects to life. Each student took the lead on a different part, showing teamwork, creativity, and curiosity!
They also demonstrated courage—our Character Trait of the Month—by standing in front of their classmates to present their work. We’re so proud of their growth, confidence, and collaboration!

JH Track meet at Parkersburg is canceled today due to heavy raining and standing water on site. Also NO JH track practice today This meet will not be rescheduled, but we are trying to find another meet to replace over the next two weeks. #rebelnation

🌟 Celebrating Community Impact! 🌟
Tonight, Kindergarten teacher Dayna Eckhoff, along with Addison Smith and Shaun Lehmann, attended the Grundy County Community Foundation’s "Celebration of Community" event, where they highlighted local impact and announced the 2025 grant awards. 🎉
Dayna wrote a grant to benefit our entire G-R Elementary building, focusing on supporting our diverse learners. With increasing student needs, this funding will help us create more inclusive classrooms—adding sensory tools, flexible seating, and other resources to help all students thrive. 🧩🪑💡
Partnering with our awesome G-R PTO, she’s excited to bring these tools to life!
Huge thanks to the Grundy County Community Foundation for their continued support. If you don’t know what they’re all about, check them out—they truly pour love and resources into our communities. 💛
