Since we are working on the letter P in TK, each student got to pick a free Elephant and Piggie book that they get to keep!

It is always great when the Department of Ed highlights the work you are doing! Shout out to Mrs.Degener for her work to bring some amazing fun our her ELA classroom! Thank you for all of the work you and your peers are putting in to make GR the special place that it is! The Spotlight is shining bright!

In TK, the kids made pumpkin prints by painting a pumpkin onto a piece of hard plastic and then turning the plastic over and pressing it onto a piece of white construction paper. After the prints dried, the kids added details to turn them into jack-o-lanterns.

Mile trial day can be a rewarding day or it can be a frustrating day. You get the opportunity to learn so much about yourself running XC. As I told these students, these numbers don't define us, but they can teach us a lot about ourselves. Last picture shows a lot about this team

The 8th grade volleyball team wrapped up their season tonight, defeating Jesup 2-1 and falling to North Tama 2-0. These girls have shown tremendous growth throughout the season and have a bright future ahead in volleyball! #rebelnation

Our Rebels are doing amazing things day in and day out! Today I received this message from our Building and Grounds director. Join me in giving a shout out to Mr. Fisher and his class for their GReat work!
"Scott and his first-hour class did an amazing job installing the shelving units that Mrs. Rowe needed for her sewing class. Their hard work and teamwork made a big difference in getting the space organized and ready for students to use. A huge thank-you to Scott for always being willing to help whenever he can and for creating opportunities that give his students real, hands-on learning experiences. Your dedication and support are truly appreciated!"

Last night these ladies finished up their season cheering the Rebels on in their last JV football game against Clarksville. This group of ladies has come so far this season! Our JV Cheer Captain Carrie Sexton took on the big role of teaching these all new cheerleaders all the cheers and movements. Carrie lead them with such a positive attitude and took time to make sure she was teaching things the correct way. We are so proud of all of these ladies and especially Carrie for stepping up right where we needed her and excelling in her role as captain.

The JH volleyball team wrapped up their final practice of the season last night! The girls celebrated with a few fun challenges to show off their skills, including setting, passing, serving, and relay races. It was a great way to end the season! The team will play their final games today in a home triangular — come out and cheer them on! #rebelnation
