Today the third grade students shared their nonfiction writing with the first graders. The third grade students have been working on researching a topic and creating a nonfiction chapter book. The third grade students either created a paper nonfiction book or created it on google slides. It is fun for the students to be able to share their writing in different ways.

Today we had Ag in the Classroom for the month of November. Today the third grade students learned about pigs. Their favorite part was being able to pet the baby pig! Thank you to Grundy County Farm Bureau for investing in Ag in the Classroom. It is a great learning experience for our students!

GR Elementary collected 823 food items for local food pantries during their Turkey Teacher Food Drive. Eme Greiner donated 235 items and received a gift basket for donating the most food items. Mrs. Creswell and Mrs. Plett were the lucky teachers who got to wear the turkey costume for having the most food items donated in their name. Thanks so much to everyone who donated!
