8-Player First Round Playoffs
The GR Rebels protect home field and defeat the New London Tigers, 46-14. It’s been awhile since the Rebels have played at home and we sure made the most of it.
The final 16 teams will be placed into 4 pods of 4 teams. We will know our pod and who our next opponent is by late tomorrow morning. Not sure yet if we’re at home or on the road.
The next round of the playoffs will be next Friday Oct. 28th at 7PM. Great job tonight, Rebels!

Trick or treat has come a bit early this year as Clark hits Riffey on a curl route and he pitches back to Austin Vaverka on the hook-and-ladder play for a 36-yard TD! 2pt is good and the Rebels lead the Tigers 38-8 with 6:11 left in the 3rd.

Clark hits Riffey in stride on a post route from 52 yards out for a beautiful TD. Clark threw across his body and Riffey bobbled the ball twice before bringing it in and running away from defense. 2pt is good and it’s 30-8 Rebels lead at half.

A 62-yard TD run by the Tigers plus the 2pt was answered by a 4-yard TD from Isaac Clark and a successful 2pt by Hudson Clark. With 4:45 left in the 1st, the Rebels jump back in front, 14-8.

The Rebel Zoo is all set up and ready to go for 1st grade PE this afternoon. Students will be playing a game called ‘zoo keeper’. Underneath each bucket is an animal and students will perform the locomotor skill of that animal around the gym.
