Mrs Strohbehn's W.I.N. extension this week used the Boe-Bots to tackle a maze. Students learned a new coding system and navigated the maze on the floor for prizes. It was a fun week and we learned a lot even with a few technical challenges. #rebelnation #rebelsrising #STEM

The TK class had the best field trip to the pumpkin farm today!

In TK, we learned about pineapples for the letter Pp. Each student had a chance to feel, smell, and taste our fresh pineapple.

On Friday, October 24th, we invite our entire district and communities to wear red as a simple but powerful way to show support for those currently deployed—including one of our very own, Captain Logemann.

🌽🚜 A Fun Community Project — We Need Your Help!🚜🌽
Our JH/HS building was constructed in 1921, and we’d love to celebrate that history at our next Open House on Tuesday, October 28th with a special visual display.
What we’re looking for:
A tractor from around 1921 (ideally something like a John Deere Waterloo Boy)
A tractor from 2021 or newer
Our goal is to park them side by side out front to show just how much things have changed in a century - a true Then and Now - Celebrating over 100 years of Horsepower and Heart!
If you or someone you know might have one of these tractors and would be willing to help, please send Mr. Bonjour a message, email, or call Central Office.
Let’s make this a fun tribute to our roots and the innovation that keeps driving us forward! 💙🤍💙🤍💙

Gladbrook Reinbeck Junior High & High School students participated in different 'extensions' for the week. Mrs. Halupnick's group explored different types of bridges and created their very own out of raw spaghetti noodles and marshmallows. Today their bridges were put to the test to see whose could hold the most weight. The winning bridge held 660.04 grams (1.46 pounds).

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, and to those who stopped by the LEGO League Information Night at the top of the stairs!
We’re already excited to start planning our next family event! 💙🎉

4th grade finished unit 1 in reading and today we celebrated with Candy Land and milkshakes!

It is always great when the Department of Ed highlights the work you are doing! Shout out to Mrs.Degener for her work to bring some amazing fun our her ELA classroom! Thank you for all of the work you and your peers are putting in to make GR the special place that it is! The Spotlight is shining bright!

Rebel Nation,
There will be an archery meeting in the JH/Hs auditorium tonight at 6:30 PM!

In TK, the kids made pumpkin prints by painting a pumpkin onto a piece of hard plastic and then turning the plastic over and pressing it onto a piece of white construction paper. After the prints dried, the kids added details to turn them into jack-o-lanterns.
