Today Kindergarteners became 5 Senses Detectives! 🕵🏽 🕵️‍♂️ We mixed up the classes and put our senses to the test! Today was day 1 of 2! 👃 👂 In Mrs. Smith’s class they had to use their sense of smell to see if the cotton ball smelled or not! They finished by drawing some good and not so good smells! In Mrs. Eckhoff’s class they used the sense of hearing to listen to different sounds and marked them off a checklist! We also watched Ray Charles perform on Seseame Street! We previously learned he was blind but overcame the challenge and still became a famous musician and song writer! 🎶 Tomorrow we have more senses to put to work! 👀 👅 ✋

The 8th grade volleyball girls went 3-2 tonight against Union. The girls fought hard and showed great perseverance, battling back from a few deficits to earn the win!

Rebel Nation, 1A postseason volleyball officially starts on October 20th. GR will have a first round bye and will play on October 22nd. We will play the winner of North Linn/Meskwaki Settlement. That match will start at 7 PM on October 22nd and tickets will be $8. Cash is NOT accepted. GR activity passes are NOT accepted. Fans can use a card reader when they arrive or can purchase tickets online through Bound. A link for tickets will be provided when we get closer to October 22nd. We’re in 1A Region 7.
