After leading the Rebels to a 11-2 record with a State Runner-up finish , a district championship, a district MVP, 1st Team all-state recognition and being a part of many school records, Drew will be playing defense for the Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers, while getting his degree in Agribusiness & a minor in Agronomy. The 2015 Boys State Championship Basketball Team was honored and recognized tonight at the HS G/B Basketball Game. Congrats to those able to make it from the team; Cameron Clark, Camden Kickbush, Colton Dinsdale, Thomas Mussig, Luke Holman, and Joe Smoldt. This morning was the monthly meeting for the GR FFA chapter. A special thanks goes out to Shane & Kathy Hawkins. They run the community garden here in town. The garden is a free-will donation. Shane & Kathy donated money from the garden donations to our breakfast this morning. Thanks to them for being such generous and kind people!
Ag in the Classroom was AWESOME this month! We learned about dairy cows. As an activity, we made homemade ice cream. Thanks goes to Grundy County Farm Bureau for sponsoring Ag in the Classroom as well as Shari Bakker for being a wonderful Ag Teacher! Our third-grade students always look forward to this the first Wednesday of each month!
