Union Girls Wrestling had a busy week! Mon- quad at English Valley. Thurs tourney @ North Tama. Friday/Saturday tourney @ Independence. GR has 4 girl wrestlers on the team 110-Jasmine Bassett, 120-Lexi Umbaugh, 155-Ella Wagner, & 235-Rain Wilson.

4th grade unit 2 celebration ✅ On Thursday, we created stained glass windows 🪟 and our own family crest. On Friday, we tasted pottage, a common meal in medieval times, and watched Robin Hood! 🎥

🌟 Today is the last day for our elementary Scholastic book fair! The fair will be open after school today, November until 4pm. 🌟

Mrs. Neuroth's students from GR HS planted three Sycamore trees at Elmwood Park today. The trees were purchased with memorial money from Dorothy Keith, a long-time Reinbeck elementary teacher. Her husband, Don, was responsible for planting the grove of trees just west of the basketball/pickleball courts in the 1970s.

Forensic detectives practiced their observation skills with a mock crime scene. We observed some blood spatter, footprints, a note, and an overturned desk. Lots of good predictions. The conclusion: a nosebleed during a staff meeting! *not real blood*
